GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said a Facebook photo on a robbery victim's page might be linked to the person who stole her phone.

Greenville County deputies said they were called on Nov. 28 to the Springwood Apartments on Sulphur Springs Road about an armed robbery. The victim said that while walking to an apartment, three black males robbed her, taking money and her phone at gunpoint.

"Two had on all black hoodies and the other one, he was tall, he had on a red hoodie," said the victim, who didn't want to be identified.

She told FOX Carolina the robbers stole her purse, money and her cell phone.

"I was like, 'Please don't shoot me,' he was like, 'Ain't nobody going to shoot you,' and they got what they wanted and left," she said.

The suspects fled on foot and the victim was not injured, according to deputies.

Deputies said recently a photo appeared on the victim's Facebook page that might have been uploaded using her stolen phone.

"This person that we're looking for now could be either a witness or could have some information that would lead us to who has the phone," said Lt. Michael Hildebrand, a spokesperson with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies hope the public can identify the man in the photo. They are calling the man in the picture a person of interest who they are simply trying to identify to further the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 23-CRIME.
