HP: Overturned chicken truck sends driver to hospital

SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Highway Patrol said a tractor trailer hauling live chickens overturned in Oconee County Tuesday morning.

The accident happened along Pine Grove Road between Cody and Hunt roads, which closed the road for several hours while the area was cleaned up and the truck removed, according to troopers.

The driver of the truck was injured in the accident and taken to Oconee Medical Center in Seneca.
