CLINTON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Laurens County deputies said they were called to a mobile methamphetamine lab that exploded Thursday night.
Deputies said they went to a location on Stomp Springs Road near Clinton after someone called for help. The caller said someone had been burned in an explosion.
Investigators said that at the scene, deputies found a severely burned man. They said a burned vehicle was also found at the scene.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Deputies said five people were charged in connection with the drug lab -- 23-year-old Sarah Brown, 31-year-old Donna Miller, 32-year-old Timothy Smith, 18-year-old Jared Gillian and 37-year-old Troy Gillian.
All were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and unlawful disposal of methamphetamine waste.
