GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Larkin's Restaurants plans to open another location in downtown, making it the fifth restaurant for the company.

General Manager Bob Munich said the new restaurant will be located at in the old Hot Dog King building on South Main Street, which is a block from the company's Larkin's on the River restaurant.

"We want to be on Main Street and this restaurant is for a different segment and will have a different feel," said Munich.

Munich said they have not decided on a name for the new place yet, but it will have lower prices and a more casual feel than Larkin's on the River.

The new restaurant will seat 100 people, offer a "creative cuisine" seven days a week for lunch and dinner, and have a full bar.

Demolition work is scheduled to begin immediately with plans to renovate the building significantly. Munich said they hope to open in late April or May of this year.

Larkin's will hire 30 or more employees during a job fair, slated for sometime in March.

The company has three other restaurant locations, including two in Lake Lure, NC, and another in Columbus, NC.
