After a gorgeous weekend, we'll enjoy a great start to the week too! Highs today will be milder than Sunday's - and will be about 5 to 10 degrees above normal. We'll top out in the mid to upper 50s in the Mountains and the low 60s in the Upstate.
High pressure will keep skies sunny... so don't expect to see much of any cloud cover. Have the sunglasses ready to go, and don't forget the sunscreen! While we don't have any Fire Danger Statements or Red Flag Warnings out for the area, the dry air in place and a light breeze (SW 5-10 mph) would lead me to say you should hold off on the burning until a better day.
Temps tonight will drop back into the 30s and 20s (dry air heats up quickly and cools off quickly), but tomorrow will be another mild day. Highs will actually be several degrees warmer than today's numbers, and we'll see more sunshine and dry time on Tuesday.
I should note that the blog may be a little slow and light this week... because we're working on something exciting to share with you very soon! So standby... and we'll keep you posted!
