Coroner: Wellford woman dies in 3-car crash

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Spartanburg County coroner said a Wellford woman died in a crash Monday night Isom Street.

Coroner Rusty Clevenger said Shirley Sayre, 67, was pronounced dead at the scene following a three-vehicle collision in the Drayton community near Isom Street and Drayton Avenue near Boundary Drive.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said two cars were headed westbound when they collided into each other and one of the cars crossed the center line into oncoming traffic.

Troopers said that car was hit by a third car.
