York County deputies said they found a man that may have information on the beating of a woman and her 16-year-old son Wednesday.
Deputies said the 35-year-old Rock Hill woman and her son were severely beaten about 11 p.m. at an Elder Road residence and airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. They said she was in serious condition and the son was in critical condition.
According to deputies, witnesses said the woman's boyfriend, Danny Ray Pittman, was at the house prior to or at the time of the assault.
The woman's blue 2006 Kia Sorrento with SC tag DDP826 was missing and considered stolen, according to deputies.
York County Crime Stoppers reported Friday that Pittman was located and arrested by deputies. They said Pittman was charged with two counts of attempted murder in connection with the beatings.
