BELTON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A tractor trailer hauling 9,000 gallons of gasoline flipped over and then burst into flames in Anderson County on Tuesday afternoon.
The single-vehicle crash happened at 10:15 a.m. near the intersection of Shady Grove and Holiday Dam roads.
Troopers said the driver of the tanker was traveling south on Shady Grove Road when the truck ran off the left side of the road. They said the driver overcorrected and then the truck ran off the right side of the road.

The tanker then hit a fence and a power pole, troopers said. They said the tanker then flipped onto its side and the power lines from the damaged pole fell on the tanker, igniting the fuel inside.
FOX Carolina viewer Lee-Ann Keasler sent in video of the scene immediately after the crash, which showed large flames and a plume of black smoke extending upward for several feet.
Friendship Fire Chief Brian Moon said the fire was contained within 10 to 15 minutes once crews were at the scene. He said crews used foam solution to extinguish the fire.
"Luckily, (the driver) was able to get out of the truck and get away from the wreck before it did ignite completely," Moon said.
Moon said about 4,000 gallons of gasoline was left in the truck after the blaze was out. He said Anderson County Hazmat teams worked to remove the fuel and clean up the scene.
Troopers said the driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was injured in the crash and taken to AnMed Health for treatment. There was no immediate word on his condition.
The driver was charged with driving too fast for conditions.
