A Tale of Two Cold Fronts

Posted: Updated:

Front #1 -  It moves through early tomorrow.  It will bring clouds for our area for the first half of Wednesday, along with an isolated shower or 2, but most spots will stay dry. Temperatures will only make the upper 40s in the mountains, while Upstate spots will hit the upper 50s under some sunshine late in the day.  Thursday will be a bit cooler, with temps in the 40s in the mountains and mid 50s for the Upstate under sunny skies.

Front #2 - This will bring a noticeable drop in temperatures for the weekend.  The front will bring some clouds on Friday, will move through Friday night, then bring cold and blustery weather for Saturday and Sunday. The mountains will get some snow showers on Saturday (mainly near the TN border) as a northwest flow takes over, but Upstate should remain dry.  Saturday and Sunday nights are looking VERY chilly as temps will range from 18-25 area-wide on Saturday and just slightly warmer Sunday night.

Next week we'll likely see a couple of storm systems, which should mean some rain in the Upstate and possibly some wintry weather in the mountains.
