GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
On Monday, crews in Greenville will start a project aimed at stabilizing a section of the banks of the Reedy River.
Workers will focus on a 450-foot section of the bank behind The Peace Center and the Riverplace building. They will remove a sandbar from the river and place rocks along the bank to help prevent erosion.
The project should be completed in about three months.
