RALEIGH, NC (AP) -
Two more people are entering the race for North Carolina governor.
The State Board of Elections said Gary M. Dunn, of Matthews, and Gardenia M. Henley, of Winston-Salem, filed Friday as candidates for the Democratic primary. They join state Rep. Bill Faison as official candidates for the May primary, so far.
Lt. Gov. Walter Dalton and former U.S. Rep. Bob Etheridge also have said they're running.
Republican Pat McCrory has filed.
Henley's web site identifies her as an Air Force veteran who is a retired auditor for the U.S. State Department. The site calls her "the People's Representative."
Dunn didn't return a phone call to The Associated Press, or respond to an e-mail. A person named Gary M. Dunn ran for governor in the 1992 Republican primary and finished third.
