GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Several players from Clemson University and the University of South Carolina football teams will participate in the NFL Combine that starts Wednesday.
The scouting combine puts NFL prospects through various physical tests and will be held Feb. 22 through Feb. 28 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN.
Representing the Tigers, six players will compete and display their athletic abilities during the seven-day event.
Clemson said tight end Dwayne Allen, defensive end Andre Branch, offensive guard Antoine McClain, defensive tackle Rennie Moore, cornerback Coty Sensabaugh and defensive tackle Brandon Thompson will participate.
The six Gamecocks also invited to the combine were safety Antonio Allen, cornerback Stephon Gilmore, defensive end Melvin Ingram, wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, defensive tackle Travian Robertson and offensive lineman Rokevious Watkins.
The combine gives the 328 invited players a chance to show their skills leading up to the NFL Draft, which will be held April 26 to April 28 in New York, NY.
In early draft predictions, both schools have players expected to go in the early rounds of the draft. South Carolina's Ingram, Gilmore and Jeffery, along with Clemson's Allen and Branch, are all ranked in the top 32 of draft predictions.
