Greenville County deputies said they arrested a second suspect Tuesday in connection with a shooting that killed a man three years ago.

On Dec. 12, 2007, Jackie Robinson Jr., 25, of Greenville, was found suffering from a gunshot wound at 205 Averill Street. Deputies said Robinson was shot and killed during an armed robbery at the residence.

Investigators said Robinson was shot in the chest during the robbery and later died from his injuries at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

On Tuesday, deputies said investigators with the Sheriff's Office Cold Case Unit arrested 40-year-old Charles Griffin, of Greenville, in connection with Robinson's death. Deputies arrested the first suspect, 38-year-old Kipplin Franklin, in November 2011 following interviews with witnesses.

Griffin was charged with murder, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He was being held at the Greenville County Detention Center on no bond.
