GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Greenville police said they are looking for subjects accused of damaging several classrooms at the Greenville Literacy Center.
Officers said the burglary happened between Feb. 19 and 20 at the 700 Augusta Street center, which is located within the YWCA.
Investigators said shattered glass and picture frames littered the hallway, and were destroyed in every class room.
Additional damage included someone defecating on a desk inside one of the classrooms. A clock was set on top of it, according to police.
Investigators said baby powder was poured out and covered the entire floor and the furniture, while in another room, there were profane statements written on the dry erase boards.
Police said they have surveillance photos of the subjects and ask anyone who recognizes the clothing they are wearing to call the police department at 864-271-GCPD or Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
