Interactive map of Swamp Rabbit Trail released

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Walkers, runners and cyclists can now use an interactive map to explore a popular Greenville County trail.

City leaders announced Thursday that the internet-based map of the Swamp Rabbit Trail shows everything from the nearest restroom to the nearest parking lot. It also shows users where dangerous intersections or crossings are located.

The map also uses pictures to show points of interest along the nearly 14-mile long trail.

Officials said the map can also be accessed on mobile devices via an app in both the iTunes and Google Play stores.
