COLUMBIA, SC (FOX Carolina) -
South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley used Twitter to fire back at bloggers who wrote about a supposed tax investigation that surrounded the Republican.
On Thursday, several political blogs said that Haley was going to be indicted by federal investigators Friday in connection with a 2011 audit of a Sikh temple near Columbia.
On Friday, no indictment announcement was made, and Haley said she's not going anywhere.
Haley posted the following tweet on her account Thursday night:
"Sorry fellas. I'm not going anywhere no matter how many lies you put on a blog. The days of dirty blogger politics will come to an end when people stop paying these guys to spread trash."
The State newspaper reported Thursday that Haley's parents are leading members of the Broad River Road Temple.
Haley told the paper that she had no control over or use of the temple's finances.
