Monday: We'll start out a little on the cool side, but sunshine will get us back into the 70s tomorrow afternoon. Monday will probably offer the warmest afternoon of the work-week... and it won't be all that warm. If you have baseball/softball practices to get to, it will be perfect for that.
Tuesday: Ahead of a surge of cool air funneling down into the Midwest, we won't warm up quite as much as a breeze picks up from the west-northwest. Still, expect a good amount of sunshine along with a few clouds as highs reach the middle 70s for the Upstate and middle-upper 60s in Western NC.
Wednesday: Much cooler air will have moved in overnight Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Lows will begin the day in the upper 30s for the Upstate and low 30s in Western NC. Frost will be possible area-wide, although the wind/breeze may hang on just enough to prevent frost from developing in many areas.
Wednesday afternoon will be cooler than normal with a sunny sky as highs only make it into the low-middle 60s for Upstate towns with upper 50s expected in the Mountains.
Thursday: Thursday morning is the morning to be concerned about a possible widespread freeze across Western NC as lows dip to around 30-32. In the Upstate & NE Georgia, lows will start out in the middle-upper 30s with frost likely.
Thursday afternoon will be very nice as highs make it into the 60s area-wide under a sunny, blue sky.
Next Weekend: It looks as if we will stay rain-free all week including Friday through Sunday. Also, we'll enjoy a good amount of sunshine with a few clouds with a tad more warmth and low humidity. Highs should climb into the 70s for towns across our area.
