EASLEY, SC (AP/FOX Carolina) -

A shooting in which two people were killed Monday night was ruled a murder-suicide Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting happened at 100 Red Oak Court.

Investigators said 49-year-old Jeffrey Carroll and 42-year-old Kelly Metcalf were found dead at the home.

On Tuesday, Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley said both Carroll and Metcalf died from a single gunshot wound to the head. She said both of their bodies were found in a bedroom.

Deputies said they were told by witnesses that Carroll and Metcalf were a couple and had recently reconciled.
