WILLIAMSTON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A man known for being the life of the party is anything but happy. That's because this DJ had all of his equipment stolen from a trailer parked in his front yard.

Eric Seawell says he noticed the trailer missing from his driveway in Williamston last Thursday, April 5. "I left that morning and came back around 4:00 to prepare for a family camping trip and realized the trailer was no longer in the driveway," said Seawell.

He says the trailer had more than $100,000 in equipment in it. He says he uses it for weddings and other nonprofit events. "I had sound equipment, musical equipment and DJ equipment that I have built up over the past 12 years," he said.

Williamston police said they're actively searching for the person who took Seawell's property.  "We have gotten several leads and we are following up on those," said Williamston police Chief James Grubbs.

As police continue their investigation, Seawell has even put up an offer to encourage someone to come forward with information. "I am offering a $1,000 cash reward to anyone who brings forward information leading to the recovery, arrest and conviction for whoever took my trailer," he said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Williamston Police Department at 864-847-7425.
