Problem with Buncombe Co. 911 system repaired

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

A problem with Buncombe County's 911 system was repaired by Sunday afternoon.

Officials said earlier that the issue was affecting some people who called the emergency system, but by the afternoon the system was working properly.

It was not immediately clear what caused the problem.
