WOODRUFF, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Bond was denied Tuesday for a pair of men who were arrested Monday in connection with shootings in Woodruff and Enoree.

Justin Reynolds, 21, also known as "Krazy," and Jason Tolison, 18, also known as "J Baby," were arrested by Woodruff police.

Deputies in both Laurens and Spartanburg counties, as well as Woodruff police, said the two suspects were wanted on various charges, including multiple counts of attempted murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, grand larceny and felon in possession of a firearm.

During a hearing in Spartanburg County on Tuesday, prosecutors told the judge that Tolison and Reynolds set up a man to be robbed in Woodruff. They said that man is now paralyzed from the neck down. The judge denied the pair bond.

Laurens County Sheriff Ricky Chastain said the two men will be arraigned on their Laurens County charges later this week.

Woodruff Police Chief Darrell Dawkins said the department received a tip that Reynolds and Tolison might be at a home just outside the Woodruff city limits.

Police believed they might be there, so they contacted Spartanburg County deputies and went to the residence at 1622 West Georgia Road on Monday about 9:30 a.m.

Both men were taken into custody, though one of them tried to hide in the roof before he was caught, according to Dawkins.

Reynolds and Tolison were both being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center on charges of attempted murder, kidnapping, armed robbery and grand larceny. Reynolds was also held on other charges, including two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon.
