Save money on Tax Day with coupons, deals

Tax Day might bring about a collective sigh from the masses sending off their checks at the last minute Tuesday, so many businesses across the country want to help you out.

Several national restaurant chains are offering discounts and free items Tues., April 17, in honor of Tax Day.

Many of the free deals require coupons that are available on the company's official Facebook pages and websites. Visit each business' website for official information regarding their deals.

  • Arby's is offering up free value size curly fries
  • Auntie Anne's has a pretzel deal
  • Bruegger's Bagels has a bagel bundle
  • Boston Market has an individual meal deal
  • Chili's is offering a free appetizer or dessert with an entree
  • Panda Express has a free serving of Shanghai Angus Steak
  • P.F. Chang's has a 15 percent discount on online orders
  • Seattle's Best Coffee is giving away free samples
  • Sonic is offering Happy Hour all day on drinks and slushes
  • White Castle has a 15 percent off coupon

If you're looking to save more money on items other than food, some businesses are also offering Tax Day deals.

Banana Republic has a 30 percent discount available in stores and online. Office Depot is shredding 5 pounds of documents for free. HydroMassage is giving away free massages until April 20 with the use of a coupon.
