Deputies: Hendersonville man flees through bedroom window

HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -
Henderson County deputies said a man fled through a bedroom window when they tried to arrest him Thursday.
Deputies said that Steven Messer was wanted on charges of failure to appear, probation violation and larceny of a motor vehicle. They said that when deputies tried to arrest him, he jumped through a window at the Saint Paul's Road home and fled into nearby woods.
Messer was arrested after deputies tracked him down with search dogs.
In addition to his other charges, Messer also was charged with resisting arrest. He was being held at the county jail on $15,500 bond.
