PICKENS, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A Pickens man was sentenced to 30 years in prison Tuesday after a jury found him guilty of raping and molesting a girl.
Bobbie McCann, 49, was convicted of committing a lewd act upon a child under 16 and two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
Prosecutors said evidence presented at the trial showed that between March 2008 and December 2009, McCann sexually molested the girl, who was between 3 and 5 years old at the time of the attacks.
McCann was a registered sex offender at the time he assaulted the girl, prosecutors said.
