An easterly wind kept clouds around and temperatures down on Saturday. A switch in wind direction will be responsible for the temperature rise by Sunday afternoon. At lunch-time, conditions will likely be close to 80 in the Upstate with middle 70s around Western North Carolina. By afternoon, we'll have more sunshine than clouds as highs reach the middle-upper 80s in the Upstate and low 80s across Western NC.
Sunday will only hold a slim chance for a late day storm. Showers and storm chances will be slow to increase early this week, but scattered storms will become more likely later in the week.
