SIMPSONVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Troopers said a Gray Court man died Sunday night when he was hit by another car after running a red light.
The crash happened at Harrison Bridge Road and Neely Ferry Road before midnight in Simpsonville.
According to troopers, the man was driving down Harrison Bridge Road, ran a stop light, and was hit by a second driver.
The Greenville County coroner's office identified the man as 40-year-old Donald Cobb Sr., who was not wearing a seatbelt. The coroner said Cobb was survived by his wife and three children.
Officials said the second driver was buckled up and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
