SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg County deputies said they are investigating two thefts that happened last week at a Landrum business.

Investigators said that on April 22 the thieves cut through a fence at Bommer Industries on Asheville Highway and stole several pounds of aluminum and siphoned about 30 gallons of gasoline from a vehicle.

A few days later, investigators said, the thieves used the same hole in the fence to steal about 60 pounds of scrap brass from the business. They said the thieves also left behind a pair of sneakers near the fence.

Anyone with information about the thefts was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372).
