INMAN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Troopers said one person was killed and three were taken to the hospital following a crash in Inman on Monday night.

Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said a two-car collision happened off of Highway 292 and Hickory Nut Road in Inman about 9:45 p.m.

Troopers said a 2006 Toyota was traveling west on Hwy 292 when it was hit by a 1999 Honda that did not stop for a stop sign while driving south along Hickory Nut Road.

The driver of the Honda, who was killed in the crash, was from Lyman and was not wearing a seatbelt, troopers said.

Spartanburg County Coroner Dwayne Corn identified the victim as 41-year-old Charles Pettigrew. Corn said Pettigrew died from head and internal injuries received in the crash.

The juvenile driver along with two passengers in the Toyota were taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center with injuries, according to authorities.
