GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Not every woman wants to be a size 0, especially the women of Fabulouz Thick Cuties International. They're happy being plus-size.

Fabulouz Thick Cuties is a social group for full-figured women in the Upstate.

The group recently met at The Cazbah in Greer where they enjoyed appetizers and dessert and shared many laughs as they always do when they get together.

Joyce Williams wore a bright yellow spring dress, a reflection of her outgoing personality. She is the founder of the group, started last year.

"My movement is to tell [full-figured women] we are fabulous, we are thick and we are definitely cute," Williams said. "And we are here and we can do anything that we set our minds to."

Williams said it took her years to embrace what she saw in the mirror. She didn't always see a beautiful woman staring back at her.

"All I saw was what someone told me I was that I wasn't good enough, that I was fat, that I couldn't do nothing," Williams said. "No one will ever love me."

That pain is now her motivation to inspire other women like her to learn to love themselves.

The group is planning a fashion show featuring plus-size models. She said she wants full-figured women to realize they can be big and fashionable.

Jacqueline Chester, a beautiful and stylish full-figured woman, came to a casting call for the fashion show last month at the Social Butterfly Boutique in Greenville.

"As I was auditioning, I was thinking I'm a little nervous," Chester said. "At the same time I'm hoping they see my confidence and it will shine through."

Although the women of Fabulouz Thick Cuties embrace their size, they said it doesn't mean they don't care about their health.

Star Hall, a member of the group, said she is no couch potato.

"I play volleyball, basketball and you name it I play it but I just can't get rid of my curves," Hall said.

For the women of Fabulouz Thick Cuties, it's all about celebrating their beauty, no matter their size.
