3 NC teens accused of having drugs at school

HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said three West Henderson High School students were accused of selling and having drugs at school Friday.

Henderson County deputies said a staff member at the school, which is located on Haywood Road in Hendersonville, observed what was thought to be a drug deal at about noon.

The principal interviewed those involved, then called deputies who charged the three teenagers with possession of a schedule II controlled substance (hydrocodone).

Travis Allison, 16, of Hendersonville, Andrew McGraw, 17, and Tyler Matthews, 18, both of Etowah, NC, were arrested. Allison was also charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance.

Matthews and McGraw's bonds were set at $500 each. Allison had bond set at $5,500. Both McGraw and Allison were charged as adults.
