GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
The Greenville Drive did not score many runs against the Rome Braves on Tuesday, but it wasn't something they were worried about.
Drive pitchers Miguel Pena, Hunter Cervenka and Tyler Lockwood combined to throw a no-hitter.
Greenville scored one run in the fourth inning, which was all they needed.
The Drive has won four games in a row, shutting out the Braves 1-0.
Tuesday's no-hitter was the only nine-inning, no-hitter in franchise history. The only other no-hitter was a six-inning, rain-shortened game against Kannapolis, NC, in June 2007.
During that game, Daniel Bard pitched five no-hit innings, striking out four and walking six. Ryan Phillips finished out the shortened game with a single, no-hit inning.
