A Greenwood woman was accused of stabbing two other women at a cookout and then hitting another woman with her car as she left, deputies said.

Laurens County deputies said they were called about 9:20 p.m. Sunday to the disturbance on Boyd Road in Laurens where 26-year-old Raisha Cohen had left the cookout and then returned.

Cohen was accused of bringing another girl with her, starting to yell foul language, then attacked two women with a knife, deputies said.

However, Eyonnie Pitts, who said she witnessed the ordeal, said the deputies' report does not accurately describe what happened.

"She was very wild, and I didn't know what to do," Pitts said. "I stayed back because I didn't want to get cut."

Pitts said that Cohen then cut her friend's face with a razor blade when she tried to break up the fight.

"Raisha jumped out and started cutting Whitney up all in the face," Pitts said.

Deputies said that Cohen then got into her car and hit someone as she was leaving the cookout.

Cohen was arrested and charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and two counts of attempted murder. She was being held at the Laurens County Detention Center.

Pitt said her friend was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital for treatment.
