Laurens man wanted in Gray Court shooting

GRAY COURT, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Laurens County deputies have identified the man they say shot someone several times Monday night in Gray Court.

Deputies said the shooting happened on Eichelberger Road about 8:30 p.m. and a Laurens man was wanted in connection with the shooting.

Deputies said 28-year-old Terrance Bishop of 221 Westcliff Drive was wanted for attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Investigators said Bishop was accused of shooting the victim several times in the leg, who was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Deputies said a person of interest ran from the scene.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Bishop they're asked to call the sheriff's office at 864-984-4967 or Crime Stoppers at 68-CRIME.
