SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Seneca mother was accused of helping her daughters beat up another girl at school by holding the girl so she couldn't fight back, police said.

According to a Seneca police report, 36-year-old Lottie Young showed up at Seneca High School about 3:20 p.m. on May 9 and was seen in surveillance video in the school's parking lot with her two daughters.

Police said a crowd gathered in the lot as a fight broke out, and when a male teacher tried to break up the fight, Young grabbed him, pushed him against a car and said, "don't touch my daughter or kids."

Young was also seen on camera grabbing the victim's arms from behind to try and keep her from fighting back as her daughters attacked the girl, police said.

Police said they had video from multiple angles that showed the attack.

Young told police prior to her arrest that she had been told to pick up her girls from school because they were going to fight, so she went to the school and helped the teacher break up the fight because it had already started before she got there.

The victim was treated at urgent care and Oconee Medical Center for a concussion, contusions, and possible facial fractures, police said.

Police said during the fight, Young also left a 1-year-old child inside her car. The girls left with their mother after the fight, according to the report.

Young was charged with assault by mob, using a person under the age of 18 to commit a crime, third-degree assault and battery, disturbing schools, and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
