Storms chance go down, and pleasant weather takes over!

Posted: Updated:

It seems like we just can't get rid of the scattered shower and storm activity!  It's all been thanks to an upper level system that has been hanging out over the Carolinas.  That system will shift easy and a cold front will move through tomorrow, which will help to begin our drying trend and nice stretch of weather!

So, for tomorrow we'll have a couple of afternoon storms, but most spots will stay dry.  Highs will be very warm in the mid 80s for the Upstate and around 80 in the mountains on Thursday with muggy conditions!  We'll cool slightly once the front passes, but the most noticeable change on Friday and through the weekend will be the lower humidity!  Temps will be seasonably warm in the mid 70s to low 80s area-wide for Friday, Saturday and Sunday!  This is some great news for the BMW Pro-AM and other outdoor events happening this weekend!

Our next rain chance will come in on Tuesday as another front approaches the Carolinas and GA.

I can just feel the monotony of summer forecasting beginning to set in... For any excitement we'll need a tropical system or an unseasonably strong cold front!

Hope you are having a great "over-the-hump" day (as Alex would put it)!  See you tonight @ 10 & 11!
