BURNSVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -
Yancey County officials said 911 service to several communities has been restored after being out for some of Friday.
Officials said people in the Jacks Creek, Cane River, Bee Log and Bald Mountain areas were not able to call 911 from a land line because a phone line was cut.
By Friday evening, officials said the phone line was repaired and services were functioning as expected.
