Arrest made after body found behind Duncan restaurant

DUNCAN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg County authorities have made an arrest after a body was found behind a restaurant in Duncan Friday evening.

Deputies said James Thompson, 42, is charged with murder in the death of Randy Steven Millwood, 54. Millwood's body was found in a wooded area behind Pizza Inn on Highway 290 near Interstate 85. Thompson was arrested Saturday afternoon.

Deputies said Thompson and Millwood knew one another, and were both homeless. Millwood's body was found in an area known to be a homeless camp.

Deputies also said that since Thompson's arrest, he's been uncooperative with questioning, so they're unable to determine a motive.

The coroner said Millwood died of blunt force trauma.
