GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Reality TV will soon be based on South Carolina girls will begin airing on cable networks early next year.

Two Upstate ladies have already filmed four episodes of a new show on Fox Sports South that's all about hunting.

The show will be called Southern Girls Got Game, and its stars 23-year-old Ashley Sewell, of Taylors, and 12-year-old Danielle Worthen, of Piedmont. They said it's based 100 percent on their ideas, and they've got some very exciting adventures coming up as they film.

The idea for a show was Worthen's. She's been hunting since she was 4 years old, and she has appeared as a guest on hunting shows since she was 7. She said three years ago she asked her dad if she could try for her own.

She and Sewell met through the Saluda River Archery Club this past December. The two are both hunting and outdoor enthusiasts looking forward to traveling and sharing their passion.

"She is like my little sister," said Sewell. "So I don't look at her like hanging out with my 12-year-old friend; I look at her as my family. And we've done so much together that she'll always be my family."

The duo hired their own production crew and pitched the series to Fox Sports South. The series is set to air 13 episodes 30 minutes each, and will kickoff sometime near the beginning of 2013.

Before any footage is released, Sewell and Worthen are uploading behind the scenes videos on YouTube. They said they want people to get to know them before the show comes out, to give it more of a personal feel.

Sewell and Worthen leave next week for Alaska to film a two week camping and bear hunting experience.
