GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies said two people collected hush money from a man accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl instead of reporting the abuse to authorities.

Deputies said that Norman Hunt Sr., 66, of Greenville, began raping the girl in 2004, and the abuse continued until 2011. They said that when two people, identified as 46-year-old Norman Hunt Jr. and 35-year-old Olivia Ross-Hunt, both of Greer, found out about the abuse, they opened a bank account and instructed Hunt Sr. to deposit money into the account to keep them silent.

Investigators said that in April, family members of the victim found out about the abuse and called authorities.

Deputies said that during the investigation they determined that three other men also had sex with the girl.

The three men, identified as 16-year-old Zachary Eubanks, of Greenville; 20-year-old Joseph Wood, of Simpsonville and 17-year-old Daniel Alzate, of Simpsonville, were each charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and committing a lewd act on a minor.

Hunt Sr. was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, incest, committing a lewd act on a minor and disseminating obscene material to a minor. He was being held at the county jail without bond.

Hunt Jr. and Ross-Hunt were each charged with blackmail and child neglect. Both were released from jail on $20,000 bond.
