SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

An Enoree man was sentenced to 15 years in prison Thursday after he admitted to shooting a teen several times nearly two years ago.

Jerod Harris, 30, pleaded guilty to attempted murder.

Prosecutors said witnesses reported seeing Harris and 24-year-old James Cullen, of Fountain Inn, standing over the 17-year-old boy, who was shot at least four times in the chest and stomach.

Both men were arrested three days after the shooting.

Harris must serve at least 12 years of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.

Cullen was still being held in the county jail.
