Spartanburg crash kills 1

WOODRUFF, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg County Coroners said a man was killed in a crash early Saturday morning.

Coroners said 49-year-old John Brasfield of Pauline died after crashing his car into a tree near the intersection of Greenpond Road and Waddell Road in Woodruff.

Investigators said Brasfield wasn't wearing a seat belt.

Brasfield was pronounced dead at the scene.
