GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said they believe two robberies at Greenville County apartment complexes Saturday were connected.

The first robbery happened at the Hunters Park Apartments on Cedar Lane Road about 7 a.m. when a person was robbed in the parking lot while getting into a car, deputies said.

The suspect was described as a male in his 40s with short hair, according to investigators.

About 30 minutes later, deputies said a female suspect robbed a person getting into a car at the North Franklin Apartments on Franklin Road - only 7 miles from Hunters Park Apartments.

Deputies said both the male and female suspects were seen getting into a dark-colored car with tinted windows.

In both robberies, deputies said the male suspect approached the victims with a gun.

The suspects were arrested and charged in connection with the North Franklin robbery, deputies said. They said they are questioning the suspects in connection with the Hunters Park case.
