GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A fivesome of employees from Guardian Building Products in Greer are getting ready to take on the world in downtown Atlanta for the Red Bull National Soapbox Race.

The team is made of members nicknamed "Pump It Pump it," "Pipes," "The Muscle," "Boom Boom" and "Tippy," and together they built a soap box that looks like a house on wheels.

The "HouseRod" will be the 13th entrant in the huge tournament held in downtown Atlanta on Saturday. They will take on 36 other finalists from throughout the country in a race that emphasizes speed, artistic and creative ability.

The local team had to enter its idea and submit a video to Red Bull to qualify among thousands of entrants who want to be in the race.

They have a chance to win three different awards at the event - viewer's choice, judges' choice and fastest time to complete the race.

You can vote for them this weekend, and for more details on the team and their amazing ride, "Like" their Facebook page.
