Happy Wednesday - we made it to 'Over-the-Hump' Day! And we're going to kind of get over a little weather hump as we go through the end of the week.
Today will bring the highest rain chances - as scattered showers will be out there this morning and through the afternoon/evening. Easterly winds will keep us cool and moist, so expect mostly cloudy skies through the day. Highs will be about ten degrees below-normal this afternoon, rising into the mid 70s in the Upstate and the low 70s in Western North Carolina.
Thursday will bring decreasing clouds and rain chances... while temperatures will be rising. Highs will range from the mid 70s to low 80s, so they'll still be a bit below-normal but will feel warmer than today thanks to more sun.
Mostly sunny skies set in for the day Friday, so it'll be a really nice end to the week. By Friday, highs will return to normal - highs in the Upstate will hit the mid 80s while the Mountains will see highs near 80 degrees.
The weekend will be mainly dry and summer-like, so great pool weather is back just in time for your Saturday and Sunday. Watch for a few pop-up PM showers and storms, especially in Western North Carolina, but most areas will stay dry.
