SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

An Inman man was sentenced to 15 years in prison Thursday after admitting to an eight-day crime spree last year.

Samorn Ung, 35, pleaded guilty to three counts of grand larceny and shoplifting.

Prosecutors said that on May 7, 2011, Ung stole a truck from the parking lot of a Spartanburg business while the vehicle's owner was paying for gas. They said that four days later Ung stole car stereo speakers from another business and fled in the stolen truck. They said Ung was arrested on May 15, 2011, just after he had stolen a minivan from a gas station.

In addition to his prison sentence, Ung was ordered to serve five years probation and pay restitution.
