Police: 1 shot outside Anderson apartment

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson police are investigating a shooting at the Fairview Gardens Apartments off Williamston Road.

Investigators said a man was shot in the ankle Saturday around 5:35 p.m. in a courtyard on the property.

The victim was driven by a friend to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

As of Saturday night, no one is in custody and no person of interest had been named in the shooting.
