SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Spartanburg police said they are looking for a man who stole a bag of cash while a woman was trying to make a deposit early Saturday morning.
The robbery happened about 12:15 a.m. at the Wells Fargo bank at 430 E. Main St.
Police said that the woman, who worked at a nearby convenience store, was trying to put the bank bag into the night deposit slot when a gun-wielding man walked out of the bank, grabbed the bag and shoved her to the ground.
The man was described as black, 5'7" tall, with a slender build and wearing a black ski mask, black T-shirt and black jeans.
The woman suffered a cut to her arm during the robbery, police said.
Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 58-CRIME.
