PICKENS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two people were killed in a crash in Pickens County on Sunday morning.

The two-vehicle crash happened about 9:15 a.m. near the intersection of State Highway 183 and Hitt Road.

Troopers said that the vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on the highway when one of the vehicles crossed the center line and hit the other head-on, killing the drivers in both vehicles.

Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley identified the man driving the vehicle that crossed the center line as 52-year-old Darrell McCoy Sr., of Easley. The driver of the second car was identified as 65-year-old Nancy Seal, of Easley.

Kelley said McCoy was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, but Seal was.
