COLUMBIA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Check your tickets because two people who bought winning lottery tickets in Anderson and Greenville will soon be thousands of dollars richer.

A winning Mega Millions ticket worth $250,000 was sold in Anderson while a winning Palmetto Cash 5 ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Greenville for Friday's drawings.

South Carolina Education Lottery officials said the winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at the Quick Point at 1800 Whitehall Road with the winning numbers 4, 9, 34, 40, 48, Megaball 25 and Megaplier 3.

The ticket holder did not purchase the Megaplier for an extra $1, which would have automatically increased the prize to $1 million. The odds of winning 250,000 are 1 in 3,904,701.

Officials said the winning Palmetto Cash 5 ticket was sold at the Kangaroo Express at 820 Church St. in Greenville with the winning numbers 6, 23, 24, 26, 35 and Power-Up 3.

The ticket holder did not buy the Power-Up for an extra $1, which would have multiplied the winnings to $300,000. The odds of wining were 1 in 501,942.

More than 6,100 Mega Millions players in South Carolina hold winning tickets for prizes from $2 up to $250,000 in Friday's drawing along with more than 4,400 Palmetto Cash 5 players who won prizes from $1 up to $100,000.

The lucky players have 180 days from the date of the drawing, June 8, to claim their prizes.
