Police said an Asheville woman has not been seen or heard from by her friends in a week.

Asheville police said they were notified on Friday that Ivonne Goodwin, 32, had not been seen since June 4 when a missing person's report was filed.

Friends told police they had tried calling and texting Goodwin and had gone by her West Asheville home, but they had not been in contact with her.

Goodwin was last seen by friends and colleagues at the Sunny Point Cafe on Monday at about 1 p.m. before leaving her house for an appointment with a cable company representative, police said.

Officers said Goodwin drives a 2010 Dodge Caliber with NC plate AML-3849.

Anyone with information on this individual is asked to contact police at 828-252-1110 or Crime Stoppers 828-255-5050.
